Gender and Kind Empty
PostSubject: Gender and Kind   Gender and Kind EmptyMon Nov 18, 2013 7:52 pm

I'm trying to determine the sex and what kind these pleco's are

I believe this is a female but I don't know what kind it is

I believe this is a female but again I don't know what kind it is

I was told this was a female mated pair with the male below and a green dragon. I'm almost certain it's a young male.
The lady who sold the "pair" of green dragons to me said this was a female. I didn't think females had wiskers going up the nose.

I was told this was a male (I agree) green dragon.

the top one looks like a hypan of some description but without a clearer photo it is hard to tell.

the second photo is a common brisltenose female

the last two are both males

the top almost looks like a clown or royal pleco, but that's just from the coloring and head shape but that could also be the picture angle

bit hard to tell in the light and because they look stressed. Have you got a better pic of them in the tank under good light?
