| Hey guys, just a quick rant, Ive been finding it impossible to get my ammonia lower than .25ppm, i test water straight out of the tap, and it has an ammonia reading of .25, so im assuming this is cause they use chloramine in it. As i cannot get it down any lower, is this okay for my BN?
Also does activated carbon remove seachem stability? Dont think it does but just want a second opinion? And is it worth having AC or not? | |

| How are you testing it? If you are getting 0.25ppm ammonia for day old tap water then I would take that as the new zero | |

| Ive done a couple tests: One straight out of tap And one thats been aged for a couple of days, always .25 in all my tanks, nitrite is 0 Could it be that test kit is picking up ammonium? Or is that a completely different test? | |

| Just keep an eye on it & make sure you adjust with prime if necessary | |
