| Subject: Creatures on water film and on emerged wood. Mon Dec 30, 2013 9:20 pm | |
| I have noticed some very small creatures that jump on the water film of my pleco tank. They also congregate on my drift wood that sticks out of the water. They can't seem to break the water tension and I have never seen them below the surface. Plecos, plants and tetras are all doing great and there are no signs of parasites underwater so I don't think these little creatures are parasites.
I tried to take a pic with a camera but it doesn't have a macro option.
Anybody have these creatures or can I.D. them? | |

| Springtails
Not a true aquatic insect but they hang around the water and like it moist. they cant submerge so they float on the surface.
