High guys , it's Mango season in OZ at the moment so I thought the give the fishes
a little treat with a mango seed.
The big Goldspot was straight onto it like my brother on a donut, but due to him eating like a pig it was hard to lodge it in somewhere, because the L001 would just dig it out again.
Soon enough the B/N figured out what it was all about.

James Brown had a big bash at it.

And this what the seed looked like in the morning, pretty stripped.

It didn't foul the water that much at all, only query I would have - would fruits have a laxative effect on the fishes?
cheers J

I don't really know about fruit, though I would imagine they could tend to clear them out a bit. I know people have said that about peas and suggested it at times to specifically cleanse their system...

A plus side to feeding peas is that is meant to be good to clear intestinal worms
and nasties- allthough my fish don't even look at peas, so I use a bean substitute.
