| Hi All Some of my bn babies have recently come out from the cave and there are quite a few (managed to count 22 so far) . The other fish seem to be ignoring them (Phew). Im just a bit worried about a couple of things. 1. My LFS will take them off my hands when they reach an inch and a bit so I think im going to have to get another tank, but being back at my parents house I have a lack of space issue. Can anyone suggest a suitable tank that's not going to take up loads of room 2. At the moment the babies are everywhere, on the backing, glass, on substrate. Im just wondering how I can safely clean the tank. Anyone got any tips? Thanks | |

| Put them in a bucket and put a heater and some sort of filter in there. | |

| High Ellie, good to see the babies are coming through OK and playing the game. When I first started breeding bristlies, they spawned in a 3ftr- thankfully I had my old 2ftx1ftx1ft laying around , so the first 2 consecutive spawns went in there, mind you a 2ftr gets pretty grubby with 150 babies in it- I'd reccomend vacumming every weekend and 2-3 40% water changes a week. Or if you can afford the space you could go with my personal favourite: 3ftx15inchx20inch tall( approx 120-130 liters), these are great sized tanks for growing out young and bit easier to maintain. As for cleaning your tank- why? let the baby fish do it for you. J | |

| That's an easy one Ellie , go with the old "zuchinni in the net " trick , just place the zuchinni in the net and wait for them to swim in- it might take a few goes but you'll get there in the end end and cause minimal stress to babies. J | |

| Our way of catching fry is similar to J's. We put a clean glass jar in the tank with a coupla spirulina pellets in the bottom. When they go in for the food, lift out and transfer. I have found that the morning is the best time | |
