| You can find some great deals on ebay, and I would suggest going for a more powerful filter than you think you need, as this will help keep your water parameters in the correct range.
Malberthorpe huh? Know a couple of locals from there from MANY years ago lol

| + those sponge corner filters do a great job of culturing good bacterias- I highly reccomend these types of filter as an addition to any tank, all 4 of my tanks have 1 J | |

| For all those in the UK I would highly recommend the following (although I reckon Paul would post worldwide)
http://shop1.actinicexpress.co.uk/shops/DiscusSouth/index.php?cat=Sponge_Filters
also under ebay http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/DISCUS-FISH-ACCESSORY-SHOP__W0QQ_armrsZ1
I have Double Sponge Filter FS-3020 - Large 120 Litres in my breeding tanks which are circ 100 litres

| cheers all i have a sponge filter already to be honest its not massive and the other filter that was in there isnt either so the water turnover isnt great ..
however (im a great believer in if you need something and have just reasons it will find its way to you) and as luck would have it today ive just won a tetratec in800 plus internal filter for a grand sum of £2.75 off ebay .. all boxed prev owner only run for 1 week while awaiting their external to come and it was only 5mins down the road ..so collected it today and its up and running and a great filter ..definatly worth a look at ..now aint i a lucky sxx
