| well i actually discovered the eggs on monday. now after a couple days i have wrigglers! the eggs came from the albino female (i know this because seeing her skinnier than normal was the reason i checked in the first place). now because she bred with my calico male does anybody have any idea what color the babys will turn out to be? Im so happy, i was sort of expecting something to happen because the albino was hanging around and trying to get into the calico males cave all the time but he wouldnt let her in. i go away for 3 days to spend xmas with the family and they decide to spawn. imagine my surprise when i see what i get from my bristlenoses for xmas | |

| The fry will depend on which one ie albino / calico has the strongest gene and also which is their recessive gene For instance 2 albinos can produce common browns My son has a male brown and female albino and we only get browns from the fry | |

| I'd hate to burst your bubble kfenk ,but from the pix it looks like the common brown colour has come through, but hey you never know - they are still pretty young and might do something different in the future. J | |

| that sucks to hear your male booted the eggs kfenk, those "D" caves do fit straight into a breeder net, you could try that next time they spawn- as soon as notice eggs put the whole lot in the net with the male so he never gets the chance to screw it up. J | |

| lol my problem aswell i started moving my young ones into my grow out tank today.... i thought i only had around 40-60.....ive counted over 100 in my grow out tank and i still have around 80+ in my big tank not only all this is going my male is fanning 2 batches of eggs from my brown female and my albino female... Then to throw a complete spanner in the works my L182's have been spawning for 2days...and if they are succesfull i should get around 200 eggs from them.......happy dayz...... | |
