Hey guys here are some pics of my evergrowing peppermint colony. Let me know what you think. Im interested to see if the albino in the last pic spawns with a peppermint. =)

Nice shots and nice fish zane, are they all meant to be the same age? because that big male is a screamer. Are they siblings? if so I'd start seperating the males now and wait for your females to mature( I had a word with my fish dude yesterday and in his opinion you could spawn them once or twice as siblings but further down the track you will start getting deformities- my opinion is that this practice should be stamped out- would you (being anyone) want to buy a fish from a shop that has been inbreed and carry the chance of passing crappy genetics on to your fish?) I reckon I can see a few young males in the bucket but probably a good few females aswell. Nice pick up overall zane . J

hey kurosaki j no i have at least 3 bloodlines as far as im aware. the 4 smallest ones i got from a breeder when they were only 3 weeks old, the largest male i bought separately from a different guy, and i got the rest from someone different again. so hopefully they will make a good breeding colony once they are mature. All of them other than the big male are growing up in my fry tank. (the one i keep the cleanest and do the most water changes)

High zane , I guess if your confident enough about having the 3 different blood lines breed on mate, I just hope your fish don't spawn before mine :P J
