Ancistrus and Cories

High guys , I was wondering if any one else could back this theory up.
My Pepper Cories have been spawning flat out for the last week, and are living in the Pepp Ancistrus tank .
Question:does that mean the water in that tank would be damn close to conditions that the Ancistrus like to spawn in .
I only ask because Cories are believed to like the same conditions and you get them breeding using the same triggers as Ancistrus.

Yup same trigger as Discus also
Large water change and a bit on the colder side seems to do the trick

im having the same problem but the other way round my gold lazers arnt spawning but the commons are well at it
