L144 FRY ARE A PLENTY

after moving a few tanks into my mates garage i was well suprised to see both the l144 females had spawnd on the same day but a few days later i found the eggs in the corner of the tank so i moved them to a fry saver to see if they were fertile well the results are they are. look at this litttle lot ive counted 106 fry im sure theirs more though. im well chuffed as this is the first time ive bred these and to think a few weeks back i was going to sell them.

these are growing on nicely

So how big are these fish now deano? they look about the 3cm mark which is a damn good effort in only 2 months.

their just over 2 cm mate the pic makes them look bigger on macro but im happy how their growing on the new food im trying out.

yes very good indeed i got about 40 to 50 at this size thinking about putting the lot on ebay . a mass of 144s as i need some tank space .

what food are you trying out deano ?

as for the food im going to keep it under my hat for now untill im sure whats the best way it works as its not cheap stuff and is like crack cocain for bristlenose as once their on it they dont want anything else so once ive got it sussed ill let you no but they grow like mad on it
