Watch the L114's deano they can very aggresive towards each other.
I was going to get some babies off of Tadj , until his male killed the mature gravid female.
Still a very attractive plec that does get quite big- that's why I like them.
Good to hear you have a reason for your fish passing on , it's all a learning curve and maybe now you have the option to clear it up if it happens again.

Sorry to hear about your losses. Glad you found out what was happening. I'm amazed at how attached I've grown to my fish. Nothing like a cat or dog..but still.

Only just seen this and when i first started reading the thread i was thinking it was something to do with the water board there was a few people that had the same problem at the same time as you where they lost tanks of fish for no reason but was after water changes.... SORRY FOR YOUR LOSSES

to be honest mate im not going out of my way to replace the fish i lost at the moment. im just going to concentrate on the cichlids for now untill i get the fish room built.
