| It is frustrating mate but at least you are seeing some improvement. If they have hatched and he kicked them out they should be ok - if not a little hard to find. Like I've said before, you should be happy they are spawning regularly - thats the hard part. You have an egg tumbler that works and now a fry saver too, so the odds for you raising the fry are stacked in you favour. Good luck with the wrigglers | |

| well after moving house and the pair settled into there new tank theyve done it again. this time tho the dad has cared for the eggs and now the wrigglers are all still in his cave. looks like my boy is becoming a good dad. lets just hope he stays that way the girl still looks like shes got some eggs in her, theres only about 30-40 wrigglers. i wonder why she didnt lay all her eggs.... does this mean the next spawning mite come sooner? | |

| hmmm havnt updated for a while. nothing to update other than the fact that along with the alb lf pair and frys new 4ft tank came a pair of pep bn. unfortunately i didnt know pep males wer such nasty devils and he killed my male alb lf so all i have now is the female and a bunch of fry, that and a pair of peps that better breed for me or else!!! any ways i recently took a vid of my tank to show off all me new endlers but it also shows my alb lf+sf bubs and the mums in there at one stage too. lol she didnt like me poking the camera at her so she turned tail at me the cheeky girl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2tsJOyTNwc id like to get another male alb lf sooner or later (wishful thinking at the moment) and will then move the pep pair to another tank as to not cause any more trouble big guy | |

| male peppermint pleco's can be aggressive at times. It is a shame really as they can be lovely creatures when passive. though I have found they can get very territorial as they get bigger and more mature. I have been quite lucky with my 4 males, as yet they have yet to show any signs of severe aggression apart from a little flaring at each other over food. sorry to hear of your loss, hope you find a male soon. sometimes males or fish just prefer the solitude of a female or two or a tank of there own, you may need to keep a closer eye on that male as it develops kind regards Lj | |

| think it all just came down to "nice cave you got there, its mine now" and the weaker fish lucked out in the end. lesson learnt so all i have to do now is find me a new male... | |
