Jack.
37. (sigh)
Kept many tropicals when I was 15ish. It was cool because I bought everything with my own dough at my first job, at a 5 & 10.
For you younger folks that's the predecessor to the modern day dollar store. (Cheapcrapus originalis). My manager figured out
that he and a buddy could get fish far beyond what was carried in their store for personal from Southwest Tropicals (I lived in
TX at the time). The whole sneaking around the store owner thing added to the enticement as a youngn' as well. So I developed
a taste for the strange and unusual with a penchant for plecs.
Then we had a house fire.
Some years later when i was around twenty I had a 55 gallon but it just wasn't the same, sold it.
Now, I'm old. Browsing the internet and craigslist for fun. I find an Albino BN add, answer, and get a group of 8 BN's.
I'm stoked. Like being a kid again.
So,
There's 1 albino male.
1 juvy albino female.
1 juvy long fin albino female.
Then there is what looks like a typical female starfire but long finned.
The other four are what looks to me like the average (starfire) BN females with two seeming to be gravid.
Yup, 7 - 1. What a lucky little guy.
Now, a side note: How often will I get pesky e-mails for "non-activity"?
Seems to me to be bad etiquette to ask a person who just entered your house "You just gonna stand there, or do you got something to say?"
I just joined the other day, forget, but not long ago. I planned on doing this this weekend but whatever, here you go.
Greetingz from Southern OR.
