| Well as untidy as it may be, welcome to my fishroom! Tanks: - 4 x 6'x2'x2' - 4 x 4'x2'x2' - 2 x 3'x2'x2' - 2 x small fry tanks - 1 x 9 tubs sumped Catfishes rack [on the far wall] The room is heated not the tanks with the ambient room temp being set at 27c with a secondary temp thermostat [as used in reptile enclosures] to prevent the room from overheating should the heaters thermostat misfunction. Filtration ranges from Bio-Sponge Filters [primary filter type] 1 external canister and I have modded a couple of the bio-sponge filters to fit small powerheads to give me good water movement for the species that require it. The air is supplied via a 700lpm Hi-Blow Pump located from outside of the room, as I like to have fresh air going into the tanks rather than that air that has already been through the systems. Anyway, enough yakkin' here are a couple of pics. HYE CHEERS | |

| cant believe you guys are discussing coloured matting in the fish room...lol
bespoke matting can be bought at most sports warehouses - as it is similar to the mats used for martial art dojo's... lol
if interested type blitz sport in google and search for the mats.....
must say cushioned floored for the fish room is a little more expensive and serious than I can afford...lol.. | |
