Here are some compilation shots of the guppies we have bred over the past 8 months.
They were bred from the offspring of a few select individuals purchased from various shops we had stopped in at in our travels around town.

WOW! some real nice fish in there!

Such an undervalued fish the old guppy IMO! I mean look at those colours!

I agree , guppies are a bio paint palette at your disposal.

Guppies will forever be one of my faves due to the coulour and fin array that can be achieved from even a small group of fish.

My latest endevour is to produce more fish like the male we already produced in pic 4 (centre bottom of pic)

you are right bwompus my friend!! i do love the guppies! nice guppies and pics topaz! i have some real nice albino blue topaz guppies. i believe i have pics of some of my guppies here.

Some blue grass males we bought recently.

very nice bluegrass, topaz. i have always liked the blue or red grass. i also have some gold pastel, and albino blue topaz. here is the gold pastel.

I love guppies too. Yours are beautiful. I want to set up another tank just for guppies as they fill the whole tank unlike BNs. What do you do with all the girls?

Depending on pH and hardness ( I think), the ratio of the sexes can vary

at lower pH and less hardness I get more females

at a higher pH and more hardness I get more male

Or so it seems, any ways I seem to have less female than male in majority of my tanks at the moment.

So I am generally leaving them to just breed and rearranging colours around when the get too mixed,
since all but the bluegrass came from mixed guppy stock anyway
