1st time they spawned-eggs everywhere. there in a 55g discus fry tank.
no cave-1/2 flower pot where only a few eggs are at.
looking for answers on how to keep the baby bristlenose alive-and a time span where eggs will hatch.
its only full half way-and have 10 -1/4inch discus fry in it.

I take it the male is still with the eggs and fanning them.

Is it just the discus fry or are the adults with them.

Young Bristlenoses would be a snack for the adult Discus.

If it's just the Discus fry they should be OK unless they get to close to the eggs. The male will warn them off but usually it will be a slap with his tail. my male has had young Kribs in the tank and they were OK.

The eggs normally take four or five days to hatch, the male will try to keep them in the flower pot but some will start escaping, at this stage they will look like an egg with a tail. If there is only a small exit the male can keep most of the fry in for between 15-20 days. once the yolk sacks are absorbed they will need to have food available at all times, cucumber is a good starter food.

The odds are the eggs will not hatch. The male normally fans the eggs wafting clean oxygenated water over the eggs.
The fanning is nearly impossible to duplicate and the eggs normally succumb to fungus when they have been discarded.

Your BN's just need some breeding caves and next time you should get a better outcome.

I had success putting discarded eggs in a breeding trap, the type used for Guppys, but the next time I tried it the eggs became fungussed.

Sometimes I think the fish know when the eggs are not going to hatch.
