PostSubject: Yorkshire Pleco Breeder's hospital stay..   Yorkshire Pleco Breeder's hospital stay.. EmptyFri Nov 26, 2010 12:38 am

ok every one....

first of all I would like to say thank you to all the people who think enough of me to have sent me their wishes
this week when I was rushed into hospital On Monday night..

some of you closest to me will know I was rushed into hospital with severe inflamation of the appendix this week
after having previous complications.

Well needless to say I was operated on late Tuesday night (9:15pm), and after a successful operation I am now recovering
at home minus the aforementioned ill formed useless organ....

all I have to show for the instance is 7-8pounds lighter in weight, and a few scars - these of which would make many a grown man cry....
lol... and believe me they did....lol.....

just something of curious interest did you know that while many doctors and scientists can find no current evidence of how important the
appendix is to humans,

another group of doctors and scientists now are gathering evidence to correlate information which is said to identify the
appendix as the very organ that now actually produces the good bacteria in our bodies and especially the stomach which
is now useful in protecting our body against other harmful invaders etc....

so next time you think of a friend or family member that had to get rid of a painful organ named "The Appendix"
just think that same person is possibly lessening their future chance of combating future illnesses,
so be kind when they may offer out their hand of friendship for support Smile

Once again....

Thank you to all those that support this wonderful Bristlenoseworld web site

From me and my family....

you have all touched our hearts and fins in some way....

Kind regards

LJ rendeer

Hi LJ

I'm so pleased to hear that you are on your way to recovering.

I too had heard that they were beginning to find that the appendix actually did have some use.

I'll send ya some good healing vibes ............ don't wear yaself out, it's all to easy to do.

Take care, and keep posting Smile
