l144 spawn

hiya all ive finally got my l144s to spawn , i decided to do a water change because it was raining after reading that sometimes this helps. the only problem is the male has kicked out half the eggs so ive placed them in a fry saver to hopefully save them colin.

good look with your l144 eggs mate and heres hoping they get it right next time sometimes another female tries to get inncave to breed and the scuffle results in kicked out eggs my reds still do it some times even now after 6 batchs of young.

good luck with the eggs just wondering if you have water parameters for this spawn? and what is your set up like? pair or trio?

just a update the eggs hatched in the breeding trap . i dont test my water but i will try and get you the stats peppermint23 the tank is set up with dorset pea gravel , four pieces of bog wood . 1 slate cave and 2 terracotta caves its 3 foot long holds 125 litres the l144s are 1 male 4 females the temperate is 24 but i dropped it to 20 to get them to spawn . i feed them on king british alge pellets and green lipped muscle pellets which i get from rare aquatics also i feed them courgette ,colin.
