Hello i just lost my gold nugget plec dont know why. So i went out and was sold 2 2cm bristle nose plecs by the boy in the pet shop. Then found this site when i googled them. they look cool when they get big.

WAZZZUP mikey243, sorry to hear about loosing your gold nugget - a fish like that will run you up a few
hundred quid in OZ , the closest fish to a GN (without blowing the budget) is the L201 and that will still
cost you $100 for a fish 3.5-4cm
Like some good bristles on a B/N - they'll grow on you.

My bristle nose plec are only babys theres a local breeder where i live they only cost £2 each. How come plecs are so rare in your part of the world?

Not 100% sure, maybe our government has been quite restrictive until now( I know of guys who have licences
for importing or maybe just a whole salers ticket) but the gov is easing up a little now, or maybe you are a little
closer to germany and europe where interest is red hot and you have a lot more species to choose from, thats
where our gov comes in again, our quarrantine and introduced species laws are probably much different to europe-
on one hand it's probably a good thing( allthough not when plecs are concerned ) and on the other
hand it dead set sux.
