| I fed a bit of pear to my breeders a few days ago, they really enjoyed it. I used the top bit with the stalk on as it was the hardest bit so didn't deteriorate too quickly. | |

| Tried mine on it last night and the results were discouraging to say the least, one had a half hearted nibble at it but other than that ,this morning it was almost totally untouched. :o might try it again in a week or so  I think they are spoilt! | |

| Hmmm pear now there's an interesting one, might have to grab one when I next go shopping. Would you have to blanch fruit or can you just chop it and chuck it straight into their tank? | |

| I wouldn't try blanching as pear is already quite soft so further softening would just ruin it. Use a spoon or something to hold it down, its worth giving it a go. | |
