| Looks like bloat to me. Did anyone notice if she had been passing white stringy faeces as this is one of the first signs. Is she showing any interest in eating the peas if she is then she should be OK. What was her diet before she became bloated | |

| Bloat. Keep those peas into her. What's the normal diet for them? | |

| A variety of TetraColor Granules, Hikari Algae Wafers, TetraVeggie Algae wafers, Aquarian Bottom Feeders Shrimp Pellets, New Spectrum Thera A+ Pellets (Supposed to be a natrual antiparasite), and bloodworms/Spiralina Brine.
Its my sisters fish and she tends to overfeed (I keep her well away from my tank because of this). She also tends to go heavy on the bloodworms and the female will eat a good 4 or 5 worms in one sitting.

| Seems a bit excessive on the protein. Even if you can't get her to cut back on the feeding as much, atleast try get her to stick to the vege based food only. Meaty foods should be a once a week treat only. | |

| I keep telling her... The only thing is that its a community tank, basically the only non-sinking food the plecos get are the ones the Tetras and Danio dont eat. She said she has mostly been feeding the Thera A+. I will keep an eye on her and the fish and hopefully the little albino will turn around. Its the 2nd oldest fish in the tank at close to 1 1/2 to 2 years.
Thanks for the help and I will keep everyone updated.

| I don't see any mention of proper veg, thinks like Cucumber, Zucchini/Courgette and Sweet Potato. Veg can be weighted so it will get straight to the BN's rather then them just getting the leftovers.
There is a list of veg suitable for BN's HERE. Many dried foods/wafers are excellent but like bloodworms should be more of a compliment to their diet rather then a staple part.

| We just started the veggies. Cucumber is ignored in her tank but my LF ABN gobles it down. We also started peas. | |

| ....On the first two pics it looks like she is on her way with bloat...but on the third pic she just looks like she has had to much food..... i wouldnt feed her for a few days then slowly start feeding again.... Take another pic in a few days.... If it was severe bloat we would be noticing alot of red marks and blood lines.......see how she goes... | |
