| i have 2 pairs of albino bristle nose. one male is alot older then the other. the young male had his first batch of eggs. he left the cave and the older male took over in his cave taking care of the babies...
i put the young male back into his tank. ( the common tank)
so the older male is in there with only his paired female. the female decided to lay her eggs in there too. but the fry have hatched from the first clutch of eggs. so now he is in there with his own eggs..
should i try to remove the young males fry or leave it alone ?

| I would just leave them, they will be safe with their adoptive father It's not unusual for a male to take on the task of rearing eggs that are not their own and, as you have found out, a male that has fry in his cave becomes more attractive to the ladies. | |

| UPDATE !!!
so both the albino young male's fry and the older males fry are all hatched and out of the cave. eating veggies and such...
just a quick question... i feed them mid day normally. would it be better to feed them b4 i go to bed and turn out the lights or does it really matter... i been feeding the pleco and fry for months mid day. when i get home around 4ish.
let me know what you think thanks.

| with fry you should be feeding several times a day, but smaller meals, they will grow quicker that way | |
