| Not been on of late as I've been away but I got back yesterday and I seen this little guy in a LFS, he was the only one in the tank so I thought it'd be rude not to have him :P. He's a 191 (I think) Royal Pleco, he's really small at the minute and is wild caught so the guy said...   | |

| Great fish and certainly looks like a L191.
I have a couple of L190's, very similar except for the eyes, and have found them to be quite active and not really ones for hiding away. Pictures of them HERE | |

| Cheers , I thought he'd got it wrong when he told me the price to be honest lol Yeah, they don't grow as big as the L190's as far as I know but they do get to around 14". I've got a 260L which he's in, hopefully that lasts him a few years  | |

| Yes way! May be rediculus but the simple fact is they just aren't really that available. The only way they are available is if someone breeds them or they get smuggled in :| That's why there's a hefty price  One of my favourite plecs too. Damn you Australian import laws!!!  | |
