i looked again just now... had to drill into the wood and break it apart. he is still alive but i dont think he will make it. his long tail fin is gone... not sure why.... he is moving around the tank right now... kinda...... i feel so bad for him.

| I also had some "wood issues" I temporarily moved a bunch of young ones to a smaller tank and noticed 4 were a were a bit bloodied about the head Had a piece of Mopani wood lying face down and apparently they were all cramming against each other for a prime spot in the darkness. I did notice an area on the wood that was a bit rough. I added some Melafix to the tank and put the piece of wood upright. Everyone seems to fine and almost healed.
Sorry to hear about your longfin. Hope he recovers

| Bad news about your L/F, as Aleishoo has said Melafix is a great med and can be used in conjunction with Pimafix. | |

| Sorry to hear mate. As the others said som melafix should do the trick. I had a male peppermint tear a male albino longfins tail to shreds and he made a full recovery. Bn are strong little suckers so yours should hopefully be ok | |
