| Hiya everyone, I will be starting a 3ft tank to breed peppermints and maybe another couple of pleco species as well. I want to set this tank up to be as near to the peps environment as possible. I've got plenty of caves of various sizes, lots of bogwood, and river gravel that has small shells in it as well, (will be getting plants once the tank starts its cycle). I would love to know, what parameters are best for the water, what plants that are good to use in the scaping, basically I want to imitate the very look of where these guys naturally come from. Oh, and where are they found in the wild? Thanks everyone for any advice you have to share! *hugs for you all!* | |

| Sorry to tell you this but it's my understanding that Australia's peppermint bristlenose is a hybrid of a couple similar Ls. So they don't really have a natural habitat... But you could always make a natural habitat for them based on L182 and L183 | |
