| Hey all.. Just picked up x 8 nice Anglels to go with my community in my 5ft setup.... They look great with the BN's.... Does anybody else keep these?? If so do you find looking after them easy?? Have you Breed them??? Have you got any pics?? Iam Also looking to add just a couple of Discus to the community if anybody has any for swap? Cheers all CuRbY...... | |

| Ewwwwww angels :P Should have stuck with the discus curbs. Not to sure if they would mix well either I'm just waiting on my new aquaone 980T to be fully cycled till I get some lovely discus for it | |

| It was an Impusive by.. But ive bought them now .......i think they look great but i would like some discus in there, i think the tank is big enough for alot more fish but wether or not they get along well together is another question...they both seam like a peacfull species although i do believe it could be a problem when eggs and fry are thrown into the mix.... | |

| i have kept and bred them before, easy as pie you will find when two of them will pair off and claim one of the ends of the tank and then lay. then they will prob eat them...they will do this 2 or 3 times before they get it right easy as! discus and angels are a tricky combo, the angels are very agressive. it can work but when the angels get that glint in their eye it can get a bit rough for the peaceful discus | |

| As Doug has pointed out the angels can be aggressive, not only when breeding but at feeding time.
What type of angels did you buy? | |

| Im not 100% jim of there names i will look into it further before i attempt to I.D them..... And that as ruined my idea of getting some discus then.. Anybody got any ideas of a nice large pair of mid/top dwellers that can live with angels and BN's??? I want something at a decent size like a fully grown Discus would be?? ?? Then im finished stocking once i get the next 2..... Then its picture time.. | |
