| hi my l066 spawned and i didn't even notice intill i saw fry all over the tank,when i brought my l066 they were 3cm its taken a bit over 3 years for them to mature and spawn ill post pics tomorrow of the fry cheers | |

| Geez thats a weird combo- a white jelly bean parrot/convict. Once they are hybridised maybe they just don't care who they spawn with What are you going to do with fry , if you grow them out it would be kool to see the foto's , or are you just going to throw the fry to the wolves. Cheers J | |

| Did you do anything particular to get the L066 breeding? Did you add current or anything else? I have 4 of the buggers now which will probably take until xmas or later to get old enough to breed but I would be quite interested in breeding these guys as well. | |

hi skippy how old are your l066 they have to be at least 2 and a half to 3 years old at least before they will breed,my tank setup is,4 adult l066 3ft 120ltr tank,a bn log and 3 slate caves lots of driftwood and bits of rock one fluval canister filter and one small rio power head filter for current imo they dont really need it,water is temp 26 to 28 degrees tds 0.3 to 0.5 very solf ill take some pics of the tamk soon and post them chers | |

| On closer inspection they are at least 8cm possibly approaching 9cm. I imagine by xmas I will put in a bit of effort to really get them going. | |

| I have a small yellow object in my tank, about the size of the old plastic pin heads. I have some rasboras and zebra danios and a group of corys in the tank. All of these are too small to have eggs this size. It looks like a healtheries oil capsule only smaller. Could this possibly be a stray egg from my king tiger plecos? Its sitting unattended on the gravel and looks completely clear so not likely fertile. | |
