| I don't know about the rest of Australia but iv noticed lately cucumbers are going really cheap down here in Adelaide. Seen them for 80 cents today so am going to stock up Just wondering if anyone has fed there bn thawed out frozen cucumber before. I'm thinking about chucking a heap in the freezer... Thoughts anybody? | |

| I'm sure that cucumbers do not freeze well, they go mushy when they defrost.

| Slice them before you freeze them and use them like wafers. They will be mushy when they defrost but I drop mine in frozen and the BNs go for them straight away. | |

| Hi,the best way to freeze cucumbers is to peel them, slice them in half long ways, cut out the seeds (that is where most of the water is) and put salt on both sides then freeze. To do it for bristlenoses i would assume you would not want to use salt so maybe try without the salt and see how that goes.Good Luck. | |

| i have found that Zuchinis are a lot worse. but if you are finding this with either then it suggests that you are leaving them in too long. | |
