Subject: Does L182 have white seams as adult? Tue Jun 09, 2009 5:02 pm
I bought a pair of "Starlight Ancistrus" from the highly reputable Pier Aquatics in Wigan a few years ago (see also my other thread in the sickness folder). When young the fish were a deep chocolate/black colour with white speckles and very obvious white edges to their tail and dorsal fins. As they've matured they've become milk chocolate to creamy/whitish with no visible speckles at all. However they do still have a white margin to their tails (female 4"; male 6").

High DJ, as far as I know the L182- starlight B/N does loose the white seam on the dorsal and tail as they mature( mine did) , however the L183- white seam B/N keep the white highlights as they mature and are also one of the bigger ancistrus species. Cheers J
