| Do albino's get darker with age, (from about 4 mo until fully mature)? All the colors, white, yellows and reds. the reason I ask is if I am buying a 1.5 to 2 in will it color up as it matures? | |

| I don't know about Albino's, but I have a couple of peppermints that are different colours at the moment. I also have a lighter coloured AB that the other one I have. So I'd say yes. | |

| umm.. i was just going to ask this question my self. but my situation is different.
i got this fish a few months ago. he was yellow/gold. he got stuck in a log in my tank. i freed him. but he some how lost most of his tail fin. he has been eating and doing fine. but i looked in the tank today and the fish seems to have turned white. or really pail colored... he is growing back his tail and still eating fine....
what should i do if anything at all ?

| I've noticed if a BN is stressed, such as not being the top dog in that tank, or been moved to a different tank they will go paler. So i'd say the bigger and more happy a BN is the better it will colour up. ive got L144, albino, common and longfin and it seems to effect them all.
I hope that helps.
