| I've used the search function and couldn't find the answer. I'm curious to no the answer if you had a pair on breeding BN and say you get another breeding pair would they still breed with there own partners or would the dominant male breed with both females. Same with if you have 3 males to 6 females would it mean 2 females each or could 1 male serve them all or maybe a few. | |

| generally the dominant male will breed only. He will breed with the dominant female first then others. they do not pair up for life like a lot of other animals | |

| Interesting topic this one, cos' this afternoon I put two more breeding logs in, which now gives me four. The two larger logs have never been used. As soon as I put the two new logs in which have smaller entrances, they have begun breeding, the biggest male who chased all the other BN'S away and even attack at one point is around, but has not bred as yet. He's quite big as in length. So I guess you don't have to be the dominant one to breed first. Am I Corredt in assuming that? | |
