| Hi Guys,
hopefully you can offer some advice. My breeding male albino doesn't look too good. He got caught in a hole he wriggled into in a sponge in my tank.
Anyway, he's out now, when I got him out though, I could see where he had been constantly rubbing when trying to wriggle out and it looked very sore and was all white.
Two days on, I just went to check on him now upon getting home from work and there's a lot of furry kind of growth on his wounds, both on his nose (bristled area) and part way along his tail on the underside. It looks almost like mould does in that it's white and as I said before has a furry type of appearance, he's still moving around a bit and is fanning his fins.
Will he be ok, do I need to Quarentine him?
Cheers,
DAmien | |

| Forgot to add that he was also VERY red around the sore area outside of where it was white.
Cheers. | |

| sounds like a fungal infection.
Cos of the fry i would hit the whole tank with pimafix and then take him out and medicate him with an anti-fungal medication. I personally like fungus-aid. works really well. just remember to hit at half dose.
