| Is it alright to leave the Female in the tank after she spawns or will she eat the fry and should be moved to another tank temperarally? I have been moving her After she spawns because I am unsure about this. Really I dont want to move her any more than I have to. | |

| I move my males the day after mum lays the eggs into the spawning tank with the cave & all This way mum has the tank all to herself and can chill out without little monkeys hanging off her.... Oh wait are we talking about fish or kids??? :P | |

| I always leave the females in the tank with the male and cave. they tend to do there own thing once theyve spawned. just go back to eating lol | |

| i agree thats what my females do. what few times i have let the male hatch the eggs in the tank the female doesn`t bother the eggs even if the male comes out of the tube to eat

| Same here, I leave the females in the tank with the male and the brood. They do not bother him or mind the wrigglers either, all they want to do is eat eat eat! And have never had the experience of a female eating the young, even the females that are not the mums. Good luck!!!! | |

| Never had a Bn eat their fry, however loose eggs are usually fair game. | |
