Make shift tank

I have a plastic 75 Gallon Horse Water Tank. Would I be able to set that up with a filter and use it as a grow Tank so I can free up some space in my other Larger Glass Tanks?

I USE ALOT OF THOSE TUBS OR CATTLE WATER TANKS OUTSIDE IN THE SUMMER TO GROW FISH OUT IN . THEY GROW FASTER AND HAVE ALOT BETTER COLOR WHEN THEY ARE OUTSIDE. THE TUB NEEDS TO BE IN THE SHADE AND CLOSE TO A WATER SUPPLY . I TRYED THE KIDS SWIMMING POOL LIKE YOU CAN BUY AT WAL-MART BUT THE WATER ISN`T DEEP ENOUGH SO IT GETS WAY TOO HOT FOR THE FISH, THE TUBS NEEDS ATLEAST 24 INCHS OF WATER TO STAY COOL HERE WHERE I LIVE IN KY.

I would be adding it to my new fish room. the one I have I have a spicket with a screen on it hooked to the drain so I can attach a hose for water changes and a 170 gallon per hour filter that I can hook up to it. I also wondered about them 13' Swimming pools that come with the canister filters for like $150 the one we have for the kids is 3500 gallons

i watch the local traders listing and i buy the used small pools with the filters like you was talking about but i throw the pool away and use the filters on the tubs we talked about
