| so its been a while since i saw eggs out of my 3 pairs. figured they went on strike or something. been about 5 weeks since any of them spawned. i dont know what i changed if i changed anythnig. this morning i found a nice pile of eggs in with my short fin albino BN.
this pair is also in with my angel fish breedin pair. so i found it kinda odd they were the ones to spawn first.
i figured the pair i have in with nothing but red cherry shrimp would spawn first. since there isnt any threat in this tank.
shows what i know right?
i love breedin fish and they joys of taking care of all of them.

| BNs often do the unexpected, and that's what makes us love them all the more. Out of the groups I have, the ones to spawn first were in a community tank full of fish, and the strangest thing is that the only thing I did that seemed to cause the trigger was the moving of one large ornament.
They are so much of a joy to have, I couldn't possibly have a tank without them.
Has it been raining or cold where you are at all?

| Water change can often be the trigger. I did a big water change over the weekend just gone and my marble male had 3 females spawn with him yesterday morning. Goodluck with your spawn, hopefully the angels won't touch the free swimming fry. Keep us updated, and would love to see some pics when you can | |
