Anyone have Betta and Pleco together?

I had a Betta for a Few years now and I just put in a Pleco will my betta eventually get used to the pleco, he's staying to the bottom. he's usually at the stop near the heater.

and he's not swimming much and not coming to the surface like usual is it because of the change in the tank, like the pleco.

Shouldnt be a problem. Bettas and bristlenose inhabit very different areas of the water so they shouldnt come into much contact with each other and if they do there is no reason for them to get angry with each other.

I suspect the fish are just sulking a bit because there has been a change to their environment. it can take them a few days to get back to their old selves.

I have two male and two female bettas in a 60 gl community tank that also houses three albinos BNs. The two species never interact but the bettas will prey on freshly hatched BNs.
