| Hi, I've got a breeding pair of bristle nose plecos in my 60 litre tank, I have around 50 eight day old babies. I have a decent filter which can be used for a 120 litre tank, could I add any more females?
Thanks | |

| I'm no expert but i'd only keep a pair in a 60 litre tank. In my 125 litre tank I have a male and two females. The females can chase each other around a bit so benefit from the extra room and hiding places. | |

| I definetly would not add any more females. That would be overcrowded. Don't forget they grow to about 14 cm (5.5 inches). With the babies I guess once they get bigger you will also have to think about new homes. Most LFS will either give you money or exchange them for something you need. Marty | |
