This is the other (has description as well and there both the same just different out let's)
A very versatile filter with two impellers and two water outlets. Connect a spray bar to one outlet and a flow director to the other. This filter has many other useful features such as a built in surface skimmer and air injection.

Under normal circumstances you don't need carbon, so if the carbon compartment can hold something else, all the better. I would put extra sponge in there, or if I had a heavily stocked tank perhaps some zeolite. If you can afford it, I'd say definitely go with the bigger. What's the brand name on these?
