| Hi I recently acquired 3 bristlenoses 1 brown female and 2 albino's I think the albinos are males but have been told by a few people they are male and female They are both between 3-4 inch I've had a breeding bair before and the male had a lot more bristles than these 2 And the female had a few but not as many as these All input is much appreciated Cant post a link or get photos up on my iPad Plec1[img] [/img] Plec 2. | Thanks! They are in a 2000x600x600mm. 720 litre tank If I got 3 more females so I would have 2male 4 female would that be a good ratio or would there be aggression between the males? It's a heavily wooded tank with a divider in that the plecs can get past and loads of places to hide | |

| Hi.If those measurements are correct you have a 6 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot tank is this correct?Would there be other fish in this tank? Bristlenoses | |

| Yeh that's correct
There are a few future monsters in the tank but nothing that will attack the plecs yet
There are a Siamese tiger, channa stewarti and various Birchers one end and a map turtle in the other side a few weeks while his tank is upgraded
I realise some of these are quite aggressive but I have plenty of other tanks to but the fry in. Or the adults if agressiong becomes an issue
I was trying pecks in here as I normally use flagtails to clean but the Siamese tiger won't accept anything silver in the tank anymore :/ | |

| I will see what they have near me this weekend As soon as I get 2 pairing up and looking to breed I will move them to there own tank so I can get a good amount of fry surviving
