Need to reclassify the Pleco IMO/ Need an answer soon.

Well; IMO Pleco is not the name these little creatures need, it should be "Poopco's" I added 1-1 1/2 " albino BN to my newly hatched Angels tank for clean up, and to see if it was safe for the baby Angels.
12 hrs later I went and looked and almost fainted when I saw all that poop on the bottom of the tank!
 
  Now I know why I have a dirt problem in my 55 gal. I have 6-8 BN pleco's in there. I do a 50% WC every week, and it still smells like dirt, and my filters are removed and changed every week too.
The tank is my Angel Grow Out tank, and holds a few Endler's as well. Have I got too many Poopco's in my tank:?: Needed to ask, as we are doing a total changeover, gravel wash, and restart tomorrow.

Hi,do you gravel vac regularly? They are poop machines that's for sure.When you say smells like dirt,do you mean like soil or like poop?
