| Thanks for that list! I have a peppermint female in with the male common, they don't get a long too well at the moment.. He harasses her. I was hoping to breed them but only recently (once joining this forum) found that I can't! But now I know what he can breed with i'll make sure the next female is indeed one he can and will breed with! Thanks again. | |

| No problems If you can move her to another tank, do so. Female peppermints are hard to come by sometimes so make sure you keep her | |

| Sorry about the hijack but can someone please explain why female peps are hard to find is it they produce mostly males or people are reluctant selling females or perhaps some other reason | |

| I hoard a lot of my female BNs too. I always seem to end up with an abundance of males!! I got my first BN years and years ago as an unsexed juvenile, male. A couple years later bought 2 unsexed albinos, male and male. Many years after that I bought 4 unsexed green dragon, 1 jumped out of the tank and died, the other three, MALE! Shortly after that I bought 3 juvenile calico, male and 2 females! Now I have tons of fry but from sisters so I need females of different bloodlines to keep things going and sustained. | |
