| I've bought 2 new bristlenose (normal dudes) male and female. Set them up in a new tank on their own with no one else in there. Over the last few days i've tryed feeding them zucchini and algae wafers and they won't eat them at all. Chucked some pumpkin in there and they nibbled but didn't eat very much.
My mate who i bought them from was feeding them blood worms for 2 months straight (no other food). I can only get them to eat bloodworms, spirulina flakes & spectrum. I've also tryed algae wafers with wood in them but still no go. Is there something wrong with these 2 little guys? I know they should be gettin a nice variety in their diet but what to do if they won't eat?? | |

| i would start to get them off the bloodworm slowly... start feeding it less and offering wafers and courgette more often... patience is what's needed mate it takes time for them to take to something new but believe me mate they will eventually eat it if they get hungry...they will rarely starve themselve's....sometimes you have to be a little hard on them, maybe dont feed them for a day then feed wafer's or zucc, nothing else... Keep me posted | |
