| My first BN spawn. The male has been tending these 4 days, and pushed them out 2 hours after I moved him to his own tank. Are these eggs viable? I thought they are supposed to be orange or yellow? | |

| YOU ARE RIGHT THEY SHOULD BE ORANGE SO THESE ARE NOT FERTILE but why did you move him should leave him and eggs alone at least until they have hatched | |

| He was in a community tank with large Angelfish, and I knew the fry would be eaten. And I had read about people doing this. | |

| They look like empty shells rather than un-fertilized eggs, you may have some fry hiding in your tank. | |

| They do look empty, but I just introduced the female to the tank 5 or 6 days ago, and they spawned a day later. So these eggs would have only been 4 days old, when I pulled them. | |

| hard to tell if they are empty or infertile.
