| Hi everyone Just thought I would share with you a red/brown cross I bred, very unusual but so pretty. It looked very different as a baby. I have not seen another one like this, it's not a calico. The first picture is it as a young baby next to a FULL sibling. It's now 4 months old. I'm going to breed it to an unrelated super red. Hope that works. Cameron | |

| They look like a marbled Red if anything, but nothing new, One of your adults may have a genetic marker which will produce the marbled fry | |

| Oh right, it's nothing special then. I've never seen one before!! Always one (or two) to ruin the fun. I won't be posting again on this forum. Always have to just pick apart everything and make it less cool than it was before, goodbye. | |

| In Australia, We cant get hold of them, not saying that there is none here, but the owners are very quiet. So here they are rare, But overseas they are around. Its not a new strain of fish, sorry to bust your bubble, but when you come onto a forum stating *New fish New fish* you should expect some criticism & should also take the information given & research a little bit more into genetics of fish & the current bristlenose patterns/genetic markers. | |
