temp was 26 PH was 7 nitrate 0 nitrite0
and i added Almond leaves for a tanning to the water | |

try doing 30% cool water changes every other day
and be patient they will spawn | |

| my male is a good 19cm and the female about 6 n half inch... my cave is clay 45 degree bend about 6"x6" im guessing to big...but untill i get the funds to get one off intrepmax thats on hold.. im currently doing 30% W/C once a week...should i do more?? | |

| i think it could well be the cave then
defenatly big enough to breed
my males cave is as big as him in other words not much room once he is in there
i would try doing 2 or 3 30% water changes a week until they spawn getting them to spawn is the hard part mate once they spawn there will be no stopping them
i normally do a 15% water change on all my tanks (4) everyday and then a large one once a month about 40-50%
and be patient lol | |

water is spot on to johns Yeh mate i did spawn them once only, and only saved 4 young.... Mine were wild caught which made it alot harder, I only managed it when i let the water go a really dark orange colour, which isnt recommended when other species are in there but it worked for me, You say you have 2 males??? Would you like to swap or sell one as mine died at christmas...... | |
