| Went to Blue Ocean today to have a look, and found some longfins that I hadn't seen before.
They look like this pic link but are longfins.
I am waiting for my battery to charge so I can grab some (poor) piccies.
They are stunning, and the only info I seem to have found (so far) is that they are what appears to be Red Marbles!
Any further info would obviously be greatly appreciated.
Pics will follow in a while.

about 2 inch total length. They're listed as orange longfins. Bottom far right corner, third tank to the left at the front. There were some L144's at about an inch, and some other B/N that I wasn't sure of either lol Jagtazman, I do believe this batch could have been from a Czech dealer, although I do know that they were listed as "XL" which they are anything but ........ however, at £19.99 each, and being soooooo cute, I just couldn't resist them Also got myself a coupla nice male guppies for the "chav tank" LOL Piccies to follow soon, but don't hold your breathe, I am no David Bailey, and need to upgrade my camera PDQ LOL

They may be on the list deano, but that isn't what was ordered. No matter, I do like these little guys. Yup J, I got 4 of them, fingers crossed I'll at least get a breeding pair out of 'em :<a href=\'h

When Wayne first described them to me, I thought that too, but they are too orange, and the research so far is saying "marble" whatever they are, they're gorgeous and still going strong <phew> ............. it's just that if we get the chance to breed them when they mature, it would be good to know for certain exactly what they were. Cheers Angi

| Thanks Deano, thanks simolora I thought they were LDA 16 longfin, but wanted confirmation. Yup Deano, they are a stunning orange, fingers crossed the colour doesn't fade to much as they get older. I honestly think that exporters create new names for Ancistrus now, as they did with Discus, as they got more popular. Anyhoo, lets get them to a breedable size and fingers crossed they'll go like the clappers | |

Tee hee hee Yep, when I got them home, I put them in a show tank with an airstone for them to settle down a bit before taking pics as I wanted to try and get as close as possible the colours they are. When I got back, they'd certainly made their mark!!! They're settling in really well, and are with about 6 of my brown longfins that we are growing on so some company for them too
