| I do a fair amount of flip flop as to my favorite color, but I am consistent at least in preferring short fin to long. | |

| is long fin a wild type or a man made variation . I like to keep things natural . Im not to keen on fancy guppys for that reason i think the wild type is stunning as is and is much more hardy and now quite hard to get hold of. | |

| Longfin is a wild-type. There are documented cases of finding longfin variants going back to when they werefirst discovered, same with albinos. Granted they have become a lot more common in the aquarium trade but they are wildtypes | |

| Longfins look pretty, but shortfins can still have some good looking fins especially my big male. Also fear longfins would be nibbled by my turtles | |

| Ive got a few of each... 3 longfin young bristlenose, 2 of which are albino and they are gorgeous Ive also got 3 short finned
I find the bodies to mine are varied.. the longfins seem smaller and thinner whearas the short finned are chubbier and longer in the body! Unless It's just the sex of my fish and their young age. | |

| I'd definitely have to say longfins, I own 4 longfins (2 albino, 2 common) as well as 4 shortfins. And out of that my vote is 110% on the albino longfin. Absolutely gorgeous! The fins are so pretty and flow so elegantly in the water current. | |
