When to pass over or sell Apple Snail eggs or babies..

Sorry about the long title...

But I realise how important it is to be specific when asking questions then any one else not members and searching google can find the pages more easily.

My apple snails had eggs about 6 weeks ago, snd now they have hatched and I have about 60 or 70 little
apple snails sliding round the show tank in my living room.

I have increased my water change to twice each week due to increase in waste and possible ammonium levels
and at the moment the tests show all parameters ok

Just wondered if any experienced members could advise me when it is about time to pass some of the little
apple snail offspring on to the LFS (local fosh store) or to other aquarists, as I do not want the tank to become
too polluted.

eg- size of snail, age of snail... or does it matter..?

Congratulations on breeding the Apple snails

I think most people start offering them at about 5 to 10mm although I have seen them offered as small as 3mm.

the apple snails are about 3mm right now and I must have around 60-80 I think.... all golden ofcourse
lost about 20-30 in some hungry mollies and pleco eating them as they were hatching...

though alot survived.....

was thinking of letting them go at about 50p each though not sure what they fetch as yet since I have seem them in the LFS at around £1.95 each I think...
