Does anybody know if its common for Bn's to develop a white patch an the back of their heads?
I'm fairly sure it isn't ich but am not sure if its natural or something I need to attend to pale any thoughts?

Eeeep white patch? Doesn't sound right. I know males often have a red patch on the back of their heads and females are not as bright, but white I'm not sure on Question
Is it simply a patch, or more a bump, fluffy? One of my glass cats developed white patches not too long ago, I couldn't identify it though some sources said it was ich, but he recovered well from it and no one else caught it.

Post a pic if you can, it might help in identifying it.

I hope it's not anything to worry about. Shocked

Agree with above posts, without a picture we would just be guessing. Also if it's in acommunity tank then a list of tankmates may also be useful.

Ok so now I'm really confused, The patch began to shrink yesterday and at the time of writing it has almost totally vanished. sorry I couldn't get hold of a camera to show you all, Sad but hopefully it was just a passing thing will watch and see I suppose thank-you all for the advice tho Smile

My guess is it could be a heater burn, defo not ich as it would be all over him/her.....
But to be 100% we need pics......
We cannot say treat with this or that if we are not sure what it is.....
