PostSubject: Cloudy / White eye   Cloudy / White eye EmptyThu Dec 31, 2009 2:27 pm

One of my baby starlights has deveoped a cloudy / white eye, I have wipped it out, stuck it in my QT tank and treat with Myxazin.
Anyone else come across this before with BN's?

Not personally Jagtazman, all though a mate of mine has recently fixed a problem with a 20cm silver shark that swam into some wood and damaged it's eye-- he just used Melafix and Pimafix.
cheers J

Again not a plec, but one of my jewels decided to swim into a piece of bamboo and the hole eaten out the other end wasn't big enough for her to get out. I had to tip her out and she was bruised up and one eye was cloudy for maybe 2 or 3 weeks but it came right.

Dead I am afraid, got stuck inside an ornament I had in the QT tank

Did not notice it had a break and the pleco managed to get inside and never came out
Sad

Pity as it was getting back to health

Now destroyed the said ornament, we live and learn

Sorry to hear about that Jagtazman, was it one of the new L059 you just brought ?
Probably a good thing you broke the ornament it got stuck in- at least you know it won't happen again.

It was a L059
The 2nd batch of L059's also died within 3 days, a friend of mine got some the same week and he's died also Mad
Will not be got back to that LFS again
I have 2 L059's left and judging by the growth rate I reckon I have one or each sex

however I have 60+ 1cm fry on the go atm so it's all good
